Meet The Management Team

Michael Collins - Chairman

Michael has been in business for 30 years, growing companies organically and by acquisition. He is an experienced director of small, medium and large companies, including a PLC . He leads by example, encouraging staff to be team players, to take pride in their work and in their company and to always "go that extra mile".

Simon McLean - Managing Director

Simon studied mechanical engineering at Cambridge University under a Ford Motor Company scholorship programme which combined study with experience within the Ford business. He was a frequent business traveller with Ford and it was this experience that led Simon to forming his own travel company. He felt that although travel agencies were 'okay', they were not focused on customer service and in particular their technology was outdated and unreliable.

Simon decided to form his own company with the mission to provide a more superior product and service, the success of which would be measured by its customers. That was ten years ago, today Click Travel manages the travel requirements of a diverse range of companies from SME's to FTSE250 companies across many industry sectors. Click Travel is also entrusted with the travel management for many well-known brand names and it is this success that is testament to Simon achieving his original mission.

Click Travel is a very different company today than it was when it first began, new products and services are always being developed. Simon has a very hands on approach and is always keen to speak to potential new customers. If you would like to discuss the benefits that Click Travel can bring to your business please use the contact form on this web site or phone 08715 667788 to speak to him.

James McLean - Finance Director

Rapid growth requires control and structure within the finance function and James, Simons' brother was the natural choice. Simon needed someone that he could trust and rely on to keep the finances organised so James, a qualified accountant was soon enlisted with this task. James relished the idea of having a role with much more variety and joined the company in 1999. Back then, James was involved with many areas of the business but in recent years growth has resulted in the finance function expanding which is now where most of his time is spent.
