Click Travel has jumped at the chance to be one of the first companies globally to be able to provide customers with exciting new savings opportunities, with the addition of Lufthansa Group’s Continuous Pricing.
Robin Smith, Chief Product Engineer says “We champion direct connections with suppliers precisely because it means we can pass benefits like these on to our customers in full and without delay. Whilst others will follow, when there is a third party involved in securing new fares such as these, the customer is paying for that service one way or another. Our customers will get the full benefit of the savings available.”
Continuous Pricing is an extension of the NDC Smart Offer, which Click benefits from as a member of the Lufthansa Group airlines’ NDC Partner Program, designed to bring exclusive access to the most attractive offers of the Lufthansa Group airlines.
Kevin Young, Senior Key Account Manager at Lufthansa describes “Continuous Pricing eliminates the high price jumps associated with traditional pricing that often impact business travellers. The new price offer, based on Continuous Pricing, is lower than the standard fare, which is offered in traditional distribution channels.”
5% of annual flight bookings through Click Travel are with Lufthansa Group Airlines, which includes Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines, Swiss Airlines, Austrian Airlines and Eurowings. So Click expects customer savings to be significant.
“We’re very pleased to see Lufthansa’s continued commitment to their NDC Partner Program and to be able to pass these opportunities on for our customers,” adds Robin Smith.
Continuous Pricing is live now on our booking platform, enabling cheaper fares for Click Travel customers.
