Metasearch refers to the process of searching multiple data sources at the same time.

In travel, this refers to websites that send a user’s travel search request to a number of other travel websites, presenting the user with a combined view of the results, typically grouped by source. If the user chooses to book, they’re redirected to the source website that provided the chosen result.
