Transaction fees with commission rebate is one of the 3 most common commercial models that TMCs use to charge for their services.

This sees a TMC apply a fee to each transaction and return all (or a large proportion of) all commissions and other revenue streams derived from the supply chain to the client.

Whilst this might seem like a win win situation this model has flaws, as it doesn’t guarantee that you’ll ever receive a penny, pushes suppliers offering higher commissionable rates rather than cheaper rates, allows TMCs to take the pressure off supply chains and is un-auditable.
